THE FUTURE OF WADI RUM IN HOLLYWOOD

Our Wadi Rum, also known as the "valley of the moon" and one of Jordan's most prominent tourist destinations, has been a favourite setting for filmmakers due to its surreal nature, red-colored sandstone environment, and towering cliffs that resemble Planet Mars.

This beautiful natural landscape has enticed many film makers to shoot here, making it an ideal location for shooting films about distant planets, particularly aliens, as described by Matt Demon, who described Wadi Rum as "one of the most spectacular and beautiful places I have ever seen, and like nothing I've ever seen anywhere else on Earth".

Every year, over 600 projects are filmed here, including ads, music videos, short films, and feature-length productions. Wadi Rum is becoming a proud destination for travellers from all over the world.
