Program details
DAY 1
Our representative meets you at the Wadi Rum Visitor's Centre to help you get to Rum Village, where your 4x4 trip begins with one of our expert driver guides. A full day trip includes 8 to 12 locations, lunch, and an hour of leisure time. The amount of attractions visited is determined by the pace you pick. The first place you will go is the Nabatean temple. Then you'll pass past the little settlement and into the Wadi Rum protected region, where you'll halt at Lawrence's Spring. Then you'll proceed to see the massive Red Sand Dunes heaped against the mountains. This is an excellent location for sand boarding, so please let us know if you are interested.
After that, you will visit Khazali Canyon to observe the old rock inscriptions. Next, we travel to the Little Arch, a natural structure where you may snap photos on top of it. We next proceed to Lawrence's home, which is a stone structure from the Nabatean period. Your guide will then choose a pleasant shaded area for your lunch break, where you may rest, eat, and drink tea.
Following lunch, you will explore other intriguing areas of the desert. The tour will take you to the Mushroom Rock, a huge natural feature. Then you'll head to the Burdah Rock Bridge to witness the formation at the top of the mountains. Following that, you will travel to Abu Khashebah Canyon, where you may have a stroll in the cool, picturesque canyon. Then, your guide will drive you to Um Frouth Rock Bridge, where you may climb to the summit. This is an excellent place to snap photographs.
Now it's time to watch the sunset.Your guide will take you to the Um Sabata region, which we believe is the greatest site to see the stunning sunset in Wadi Rum.While watching the sunset, you will sip bedouin tea cooked over an open fire. Then he will take you back to our camp.
When you arrive at the camp, the staff will lead you to your tent, after which you will spend the evening with the Bedouin. We shall eat a classic Zarb supper cooked in the bedouin style of ground cooking. After supper, guests may enjoy bedouin storytelling, laughter, and astronomy.
DAY 2
After breakfast, we go south to the peak of Jebel Hash, which is located in the Al Forah region near the Jordanian-Saudi Arabian border. This mountain is relatively easy to climb for those who are unskilled or want a short walk. You and your guide will begin trekking from the eastern side of the mountain in the Um Snenah Valley and ascend through the valley to the summit.
Then we'll transport you down from the northwestern side of the mountain via Wadi Nuqra. This walk takes about 5 hours to complete. This is perhaps the most beautiful mountain to walk on in Wadi Rum, since when you reach the summit (1700m above sea level), you will see all of the hues that define Wadi Rum. After reaching the summit, you will descend the mountain, where your guide will begin preparing your lunch and you will be able to rest for an hour. After that, you and your guide will spend around 3 hours walking around the mountain. Finally, we'll return to the camp and wait for dusk, after which you may enjoy food and music.
The next day, after breakfast, we will transport you back to Rum village at 9 a.m. We highly suggest this programme, which includes all of the highlights in Wadi Rum.
